Wine Event Featuring Laurence Jobard of Domaine Gabriel Billard at Restaurant Eugene
Join Restaurant Eugene on Monday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m. for a one-of-a-kind wine event featuring wine-maker Laurence Jobard of Domaine Gabriel Billard. Attendees will listen to a panel of Burgandy experts as they discuss Laurence’s wines and the state of Burgandy. The panel will be moderated by wine writer, Gil Kulers and the panel of experts will include:
- Joel Brasserie, Certified Sommelier
- Perrine Prieur, Native Burgundian
- Laurence Jobard, internationally-renowned wine-maker
- Mireille Desmonet, Jobard’s sister
- Steve Pignatiello, importer and well-known Burgandy wine authority
Laurence Jobard was the lead wine-maker at the famed Joseph Drouhin estate in Burgundy, France for 21 years. She is now retired and focuses all of her attention on her family estate wines, in and around Pommard and Beaune. Laurence is very well-known internationally and consults all over the world. Her wines are superb and truly express the terroir of Burgundy.
