On June 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Vinings Jubilee is hosting Retail for the River. Retailers will come together for the one day event to raise money for the 2009 Save the Hooch campaign. Attendees will enjoy food, SweetWater beer, great savings and prizes. A portion of the day’s sales, as well as event proceeds, will be donated to the Save the Hooch effort.

SweetWater Brewery started the Save the Hooch campaign in 2005 in an effort to protect the most important ingredient in the beer they brew, water from the Chattahoochee River. The annual campaign lasts from Memorial Day through July 4th. Proceeds from the campaign benefit the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and in 2008 the Save the Hooch campaign raised $63,000 for Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper.
