Restaurant Eugene Chef Named Best New Chef by Food & Wine

Residents of the Astoria at Aramore have enjoyed great meals at Restaurant Eugene, which is located on the bottom floor of the Aramore building, for years but now Atlanta’s best-kept secret is out. Restaurant Eugene’s head chef, Linton Hopkins, was recently named in July’s Best New Chef issue of Food & Wine magazine. The criteria to decide the best new chefs consisted of cooking food that is personal, creative and delicious. Editors visit these restaurants anonymously to secret judge the meals and the chef.
Linton Hopkins is one of 10 winners for 2009 and the only one from Georgia. He offers six of his very own recipes to encourage next year’s batch of top chefs or just a great family meal. His (more…)
