Kairos Made the Cover of Today’s Custom Home Magazine

If you caught the June issue of Today’s Custom Home magazine, then you should have noticed the cover featuring these new Atlanta communities built by Kairos Development Corporation. The article goes in-depth to describe exactly what sets Kairos Development apart from other Atlanta developers, even emphasizing how Kairos got its name and the meaning behind it. Kairos Development Corporation Supports the Real Estate Industry

Velda Simpson, Brett M. Koutnik, Tom Price, Rebekah J. CoblentzIt’s nice to know that a large development corporation like Kairos spends time trying to better the economy and the environment. Last week they sent out their property manager, Velda Simpson, to Washington D.C. to battle our nation’s lawmakers and try to convince them on ways to better the real estate industry. I sure hope they listened to her because she did make some excellent points.

Velda Simpson, Brett M. Koutnik, John Lewis, Rebekah J. CoblentzSimpson spent much of her time trying to get lawmakers to pass legislation promoting green building. Ideally, these laws will increase the number of green projects, both residential and commercial, by increasing tax incentives for energy efficient developments. Of course adding market-based incentives will also contribute an increasing number of energy efficient developments. If the builders can weigh the benefits and the costs, and realize it is to their great advantage to renovate and build energy efficient developments, (more…)

Restaurant Eugene plans grand opening of Holeman and Finch Public House

WineHusband and wife team Chef Linton and Gina Hopkins partner with rising star mixologist Greg Best and his long time bartending team Regan Smith and Andy Minchow to open Holeman and Finch Public House this Spring. Located in The Aramore, directly across from Restaurant Eugene, Holeman and Finch Public House will provide an exciting and vibrant social gathering place, where a person’s most basic food and drink needs are served with unrivaled quality and care.

The Public House is named for the maternal Grandfathers of Chef Linton Hopkins (Eugene Holeman) and Greg Best (Frederick Finch), the menu will reflect Chef Hopkins passion for artisinal whole animal preparations and will feature house made charcuterie that will be displayed in temperature-controlled, floor-to-ceiling cabinets.

Kairos Development Donates to Cleveland Avenue Gateway in East Point

Cleveland Avenue GatewayKairos Development Corporation, developers of the historic Buggyworks office complex in East Point contributed funds toward the design of a gateway in the City of East Point’s historic industrial district along the Cleveland Avenue corridor. The gateway will serve as a visually pleasing entrance into the Cleveland Avenue corridor and will include a gateway sign, enhanced and improved landscaping and improvements to the existing sidewalk. This phase of the project, Phase One, was completed this month.

The gateway project at Cleveland Avenue is a small component of a master plan designed to transform the historic industrial district along the Cleveland Avenue Corridor in East Point into a thriving, prosperous area.
