City of East Point Moves to Jefferson Station

Jefferson Station offers Loft Office Space in Historical East PointKairos Development’s office building at Jefferson Stations is so appealing that the City of East Point is relocating several departments from their current offices to the new development Jefferson Station at Buggy Works. Over 23,900 square feet will be occupied by the City Clerk, Human Resources, Finance, Government Operations, Parks and Recreation, Planning and Zoning, Economic Development and Purchasing. Moving in on August 1st, these city offices will reside in Jefferson Station for at least five years. It’s a rather big honor for Kairos Development to have such support from the City in their development of the historic industrial district.

Jefferson Station at Buggy Works is a four-story, historic factory building that was originally constructed in 1930 and offers office space in East Point. (more…)

Tyler Perry Films at the Astoria

Tyler PerryThe Astoria at the Aramore is not only catching the eye of Atlanta’s most presitigous home buyers, but also local celebrity Tyler Perry. Tyler Perry, best known for his leading lady Madea, is filming his newest project, “The Family that Preys” at the hottest spots in Atlanta, and Kairos Development’s the Astoria at the Aramore made the list. Kathy Bates, Alfre Woodard and Tyler Perry were all at the Buckhead location for two days, and utilizing the ground floor underneath the building as well as the 12th floor.

Kairos Development Celebrates Topping Out of The Astoria at the Aramore

The Astoria is Topped Out!!Kairos Development Corporation commemorated the completion of the fifteenth floor of The Astoria at the Aramore last month at a Topping Out celebration. The Topping Out luncheon was held in the first floor of office space at the Astoria and was attended by partners and development team members and general contractor Batson-Cook Construction staff. Construction on the luxury mid-rise consisting of 71 exclusive condominiums began in early March 2007. The exterior finishes of the building are being completed while installation of the windows and doors begin. With all floors now complete, construction is on schedule for resident move-in by Summer 2008.

Approximately 525 construction workers and countless others have put great effort into keeping this project on schedule. This celebration represents the hard work of the skilled construction workers, development team and partners who are working together to raise this structure. The whole team should be very proud of their achievements.

The Astoria at the Aramore is 180 feet wide and 95 feet deep and rises 195 feet above the ground. Elegant exterior materials such as ArriscraftTM stone will produce a luxurious, stylish feel. Very traditional elements (more…)
