Why not get in shape and give back to the Vinings community all at the same time. It is still not too late to begin training for this year’s Vinings Rotary Run for the Kids, a 5k and1k run/walk that will take place on Saturday, September 12 at 8 a.m. Registration for the run will remain open until Thursday, September 10. Cost for the race is as follows:

5k Run/Walk: $20

1 mile/Run/Walk $20

5k participants under 18: $10

Last year nearly 700 runners completed the course the travels from Mount Wilkerson to the Chattahoochee River Park. This year’s race will once again be sponsored by the Rotary Club of Vinings with proceeds going to the Calvary Children’s Home, The Good Samaritan Health Center, the Vinings Rotary Charity Fund and other local charities.
